Fastnet Rock, or simply Fastnet (possibly from Old Norse Hvasstein-ey, meaning 'sharp-tooth isle'; called Carraig Aonair, meaning "lonely rock", in Irish) is a small islet in the Atlantic Ocean and the most southerly point of Ireland.
